Auction result well in line with expectations
In November 2013 Christies in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work La Ventana by Juan Soriano. The price achieved of USD 56,250.00 (€ 41,342.05) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00. Admittedly, works by Juan Soriano have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Apolo y las musas in November 2017 with an auction result of USD 250,000.00 (€ 210,119.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im November 2013 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit La Ventana von Juan Soriano zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 56.250,00 (€ 41.342,05) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 50.000,00 – 70.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan Soriano auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Apolo y las musas im November 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 250.000,00 (€ 210.119,35).
