Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Elegant ladies on a Parisian street; and A lady and her dog crossing a Parisian square (illustrated) by Juan Soler was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in June 2008. The price achieved of GBP 1,000.00 (€ 1,264.03) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Juan Soler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buying flowers in a Parisian street in February 2001 with an auction result of GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,154.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Elegant ladies on a Parisian street; and A lady and her dog crossing a Parisian square (illustrated) von Juan Soler wurde im Juni 2008 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.000,00 (€ 1.264,03) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan Soler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buying flowers in a Parisian street im Februar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.154,64).
