Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Elegant figures after the rain, Paris; and An elegant lady with a parasol crossing a Parisian street by Juan Soler was sold in the Christie's Interiors auction at Christies in London in January 2009. It changed hands for a price of GBP 1,125.00 (€ 1,266.37) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. Admittedly, works by Juan Soler have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Buying flowers in a Parisian street in February 2001 with an auction result of GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,154.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Elegant figures after the rain, Paris; and An elegant lady with a parasol crossing a Parisian street von Juan Soler wurde im Januar 2009 in der Auktion Christie's Interiors bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 1.125,00 (€ 1.266,37) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan Soler auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Buying flowers in a Parisian street im Februar 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.154,64).
