Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2007 Christies in London held the auction British, Continental & Russian Pictures, which included the work An Elegant Lady With Her Parasol, Paris by Juan Soler. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 1,500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 1,625.00 (€ 2,208.10). However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Soler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buying flowers in a Parisian street, which sold at auction in February 2001 for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,154.64).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2007 führte Christies in London die Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Elegant Lady With Her Parasol, Paris von Juan Soler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 1.500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 1.625,00 (€ 2.208,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Soler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buying flowers in a Parisian street beobachtet, die im Februar 2001 für GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.154,64) versteigert wurde.
