The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,412.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Soler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buying flowers in a Parisian street, which sold at auction in February 2001 for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,154.64).

Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.412,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Soler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buying flowers in a Parisian street beobachtet, die im Februar 2001 für GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.154,64) versteigert wurde.
