Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Elegant figures prominading in the afternoon by Juan Soler was auctioned at Christies in London in May 2007. The price achieved of GBP 960.00 (€ 1,412.70) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 800.00 – 1,200.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Soler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buying flowers in a Parisian street, which sold at auction in February 2001 for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,154.64).

Die Arbeit Elegant figures prominading in the afternoon von Juan Soler kam im Mai 2007 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 960,00 (€ 1.412,70) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Soler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buying flowers in a Parisian street beobachtet, die im Februar 2001 für GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.154,64) versteigert wurde.
