Auction result well in line with expectations
In July 2001 Christies in London held the auction British and Continental Pictures, which included the work Elegant Figures On A Parisian Boulevard by Juan Soler. It changed hands for a price of GBP 940.00 (€ 1,530.72) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 700.00 – 1,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Soler - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Buying flowers in a Parisian street, which sold at auction in February 2001 for GBP 3,290.00 (€ 5,154.64).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Juli 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion British and Continental Pictures durch, in der auch die Arbeit Elegant Figures On A Parisian Boulevard von Juan Soler zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 940,00 (€ 1.530,72) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 700,00 – 1.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Juan Soler mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Buying flowers in a Parisian street beobachtet, die im Februar 2001 für GBP 3.290,00 (€ 5.154,64) versteigert wurde.
