In the Latin American Art auction, the work Sombras En El Camino sold for USD 46,875.00 (€ 37,897.16) - well above the upper estimate of USD 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Juan Manuel Hernández - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work El Encuentro I And Ii (Dyptich), which sold at auction in November 2010 for USD 107,500.00 (€ 82,463.95).
