Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2011 Sothebys in New York held the auction Latin American Art, which included the work Camino A Renacer by Juan Manuel Hernández. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 27,500.00 (€ 19,129.10). Admittedly, works by Juan Manuel Hernández have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work El Encuentro I And Ii (Dyptich) in November 2010 with an auction result of USD 107,500.00 (€ 82,463.95).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2011 führte Sothebys in New York die Auktion Latin American Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Camino A Renacer von Juan Manuel Hernández zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 27.500,00 (€ 19.129,10) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Juan Manuel Hernández auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit El Encuentro I And Ii (Dyptich) im November 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 107.500,00 (€ 82.463,95).
