Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2020 Sothebys in London held the auction Impressionist & Modern Art | London, which included the work Fourchette Et Cuillière by Juan Gris. The price achieved of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 111,929.80) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Gris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La table de musicien in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 31,812,500.00 (€ 27,260,068.55).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2020 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Impressionist & Modern Art | London durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fourchette Et Cuillière von Juan Gris zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 111.929,80) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Gris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La table de musicien im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.812.500,00 (€ 27.260.068,55).
