Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Compotier Et Pipe by Juan Gris was sold in the Art Impressionniste et Moderne auction at Sothebys in Paris in June 2020. It achieved a price of EUR 212,500.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 18 %. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Juan Gris achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work La table de musicien in May 2018 with an auction result of USD 31,812,500.00 (€ 27,260,068.55).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Compotier Et Pipe von Juan Gris wurde im Juni 2020 in der Auktion Art Impressionniste et Moderne bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 212.500,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 18 %. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Juan Gris erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit La table de musicien im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 31.812.500,00 (€ 27.260.068,55).
