Auction result well in line with expectations
The work MHG by JPW 3 was auctioned at Phillips in New York in September 2017. The price achieved of USD 2,500.00 (€ 2,116.31) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Admittedly, works by JPW 3 have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work 9 in April 2017 with an auction result of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,875.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit MHG von JPW 3 kam im September 2017 bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 2.500,00 (€ 2.116,31) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von JPW 3 auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit 9 im April 2017 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.875,17).
