Auction result misses estimated price range
In February 2018 a collector was able to acquire the work 4PO by JPW 3 for USD 5,250.00 (€ 4,299.40). This price was achieved in the auction New Now at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 7,000.00 – 10,000.00 set by the auction house. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by JPW 3 - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work 9, which sold at auction in April 2017 for GBP 10,000.00 (€ 11,875.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar 2018 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit 4PO von JPW 3 für USD 5.250,00 (€ 4.299,40) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion New Now bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 7.000,00 – 10.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von JPW 3 mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit 9 beobachtet, die im April 2017 für GBP 10.000,00 (€ 11.875,17) versteigert wurde.
