Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Two Children Wading by Jozef Israëls was auctioned at Christies in October 2021. The price achieved of USD 15,000.00 (€ 12,984.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jozef Israëls achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dutch dreams (Dolce Far Niente) in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 225,592.85).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Two Children Wading von Jozef Israëls kam im Oktober 2021 bei Christies zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 12.984,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jozef Israëls erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dutch dreams (Dolce Far Niente) im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 225.592,85).
