Admittedly, works by Jozef Israëls have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Dutch dreams (Dolce Far Niente) in May 2013 with an auction result of USD 293,000.00 (€ 225,592.85).

Die Arbeit Grace Before Meals von Jozef Israëls kam im Oktober 2021 bei Christies zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 35.000,00 (€ 30.297,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 17%. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jozef Israëls auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Dutch dreams (Dolce Far Niente) im Mai 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 293.000,00 (€ 225.592,85).
