Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Joyce Tenneson could be acquired at Christies in New York in October 2000 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Photographs, including Property from the Collection of auction, the work Suzanne with Snake changed hands for USD 1,880.00 (€ 2,215.41) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joyce Tenneson achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Suzanne (In Chair) in June 2010 with an auction result of USD 28,125.00 (€ 22,882.60).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Joyce Tenneson konnte im Oktober 2000 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Photographs, including Property from the Collection of wechselte die Arbeit Suzanne with Snake für USD 1.880,00 (€ 2.215,41) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joyce Tenneson erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Suzanne (In Chair) im Juni 2010 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 28.125,00 (€ 22.882,60).
