The work Team Player by Josh Sperling was sold in the Contemporary Art Day: An Online Auction auction at Sothebys in New York in May 2020. The price achieved of USD 118,750.00 (€ 107,001.26) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 100,000.00 – 150,000.00. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Team Player is the most expensive artwork by Josh Sperling that we have observed at auctions so far.
