A top price for Joseph Kleitsch - as previously expected

In November 2001 Christies in Los Angeles held the auction CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS, which included the work Park Avenue, Old Laguna by Joseph Kleitsch. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 300,000.00 – 500,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 336,000.00 (€ 375,083.72) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, Park Avenue, Old Laguna is the most expensive artwork by Joseph Kleitsch that we have observed at auctions so far.

Im November 2001 führte Christies in Los Angeles die Auktion CALIFORNIA, WESTERN AND AMERICAN PAINTINGS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Park Avenue, Old Laguna von Joseph Kleitsch zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 300.000,00 – 500.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 336.000,00 (€ 375.083,72) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
