Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Bonhams in Los Angeles held the auction California Art, which included the work Monks Under a Mission Arcade by Joseph Kleitsch. It changed hands for a price of USD 11,475.00 (€ 10,890.20) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Kleitsch achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Park Avenue, Old Laguna in November 2001 with an auction result of USD 336,000.00 (€ 375,083.72).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Bonhams in Los Angeles die Auktion California Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Monks Under a Mission Arcade von Joseph Kleitsch zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 11.475,00 (€ 10.890,20) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 8.000,00 – 12.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Kleitsch erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Park Avenue, Old Laguna im November 2001 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 336.000,00 (€ 375.083,72).
