Auction result well in line with expectations
The work The Huntsman by Joseph Crawhall was sold in the Scottish Art auction at Sothebys in London in November 2021. The price achieved of GBP 6,300.00 (€ 7,396.79) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Crawhall achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Mallard Rising in November 2021 with an auction result of GBP 100,800.00 (€ 118,348.68).

Die Arbeit The Huntsman von Joseph Crawhall wurde im November 2021 in der Auktion Scottish Art bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 6.300,00 (€ 7.396,79) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 5.000,00 – 7.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joseph Crawhall erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit A Mallard Rising im November 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 100.800,00 (€ 118.348,68).
