It achieved a price of USD 126,000.00 (€ 115,894.04), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 26%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joseph Cornell achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Medici Slot Machine in May 2014 with an auction result of USD 7,781,000.00 (€ 5,704,545.45).
