The result of USD 10,000.00 (€ 8,585.90) was exactly at the lower end of the estimate range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Joseph Bail - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Sisters of Charity Saying Grace Before a Meal at the Hospice in Beaune, France, (Le Benedicté), which sold at auction in October 2007 for USD 46,600.00 (€ 32,209.01).

Das dabei erzielte Ergebnis von USD 10.000,00 (€ 8.585,90) entsprach exakt dem unteren Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00.
