It changed hands for a price of EUR 7,500.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Admittedly, works by Josef Mikl have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Drei Figuren in June last year with an auction result of EUR 45,360.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Abstrakt in Blau und Gelb. von Josef Mikl kam im Juni 2016 bei Grisebach zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 7.500,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Josef Mikl auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Drei Figuren im Juni letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 45.360,00.
