Auction result misses estimated price range
In August 2021 a collector was able to acquire the work Talk in the road by Josef Herman for USD 504.00 (€ 427.12). This price was achieved in the auction Eclectic | New York at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 600.00 – 800.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Josef Herman achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Irish Scene in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 24,000.00 (€ 35,614.79).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Eclectic | New York bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Josef Herman erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Irish Scene im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 24.000,00 (€ 35.614,79).
