A top price for Josef Ehm
In April 2000 Christies in New York held the auction Photographs, which included the work Torso by Josef Ehm. Here, the upper estimate of USD 2,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 2,232.50 (€ 2,456.27). With this result, Torso is even the most expensive work of art by Josef Ehm that we have observed at auctions so far.
Ein Spitzenpreis für Josef Ehm
Im April 2000 führte Christies in New York die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit Torso von Josef Ehm zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 2.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 2.232,50 (€ 2.456,27) einen neuen Besitzer. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Torso sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Josef Ehm, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
