Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Summer landscape by José Weiss was auctioned at Christies in London in January 2005. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 780.00 (€ 1,126.75). Admittedly, works by José Weiss have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work September On The Arun in October 2013 with an auction result of USD 15,000.00 (€ 11,034.28).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Summer landscape von José Weiss kam im Januar 2005 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 780,00 (€ 1.126,75) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von José Weiss auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit September On The Arun im Oktober 2013 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 15.000,00 (€ 11.034,28).
