Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by José de Rivera could be acquired at Christies in New York in June 2013 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Interiors auction, the work Construction #184 changed hands for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,441.20) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 6,000.00 – 8,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by José de Rivera achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Brussels Construction in March 2012 with an auction result of USD 68,500.00 (€ 51,372.43).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von José de Rivera konnte im Juni 2013 bei Christies in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Interiors wechselte die Arbeit Construction #184 für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.441,20) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 6.000,00 – 8.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von José de Rivera erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Brussels Construction im März 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 68.500,00 (€ 51.372,43).
