A top price for José de Paez - as previously expected
The work La Santísima Trinidad Y San Miguel Arcángel by José de Paez was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Sothebys in New York in November 2011. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 50,000.00 – 70,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 53,125.00 (€ 39,489.33) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Even if this result could not surprise positively, La Santísima Trinidad Y San Miguel Arcángel is the most expensive artwork by José de Paez that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit La Santísima Trinidad Y San Miguel Arcángel von José de Paez wurde im November 2011 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York versteigert.
