Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Virgin of the Apocalypse by José de Paez was sold in the Latin American Art Online auction at Christies in New York in March this year. Here, the upper estimate of USD 25,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 25,200.00 (€ 23,178.81). Other works by José de Paez have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 53,125.00 (€ 39,489.33) in November 2011 for the work La Santísima Trinidad Y San Miguel Arcángel.

Die Arbeit Virgin of the Apocalypse von José de Paez wurde im März diesen Jahres in der Auktion Latin American Art Online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 25.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 25.200,00 (€ 23.178,81) einen neuen Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von José de Paez haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 53.125,00 (€ 39.489,33) im November 2011 für die Arbeit La Santísima Trinidad Y San Miguel Arcángel beobachtet.
