Auction result well in line with expectations

The price achieved of USD 18,000.00 (€ 13,932.97) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jose Benlliure y Gil achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Inside A Coffee House, Tunis in October 2019 with an auction result of GBP 555,000.00 (€ 643,760.20).
