Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Tea in the garden by Henri-Jozef Pauwels was auctioned at Christies in London in August 2006. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 500.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 540.00 (€ 803.01). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri-Jozef Pauwels achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scène d'intérieur au jardin in March last year with an auction result of USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,930.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Tea in the garden von Henri-Jozef Pauwels kam im August 2006 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 540,00 (€ 803,01) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri-Jozef Pauwels erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scène d'intérieur au jardin im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.562,50 (€ 14.930,59).
