Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Henri-Jozef Pauwels could be acquired at Christies in London in March 2007 for an unexpectedly low price. In the British, Continental & Russian Pictures auction, the work Tea for one changed hands for GBP 240.00 (€ 353.25) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri-Jozef Pauwels achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scène d'intérieur au jardin in March last year with an auction result of USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,930.59).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne

In der Auktion British, Continental & Russian Pictures wechselte die Arbeit Tea for one für GBP 240,00 (€ 353,25) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri-Jozef Pauwels erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scène d'intérieur au jardin im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.562,50 (€ 14.930,59).
