This artwork by Henri-Jozef Pauwels achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in London in March 2006. In the British and Continental Pictures auction, the work Tea In The Drawing Room sold for GBP 960.00 (€ 1,375.51) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri-Jozef Pauwels achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scène d'intérieur au jardin in March last year with an auction result of USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,930.59).

In der Auktion British and Continental Pictures wurde die Arbeit Tea In The Drawing Room für GBP 960,00 (€ 1.375,51) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri-Jozef Pauwels erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scène d'intérieur au jardin im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.562,50 (€ 14.930,59).
