Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Afternoon tea by Henri-Jozef Pauwels was sold in the British and Continental Pictures auction at Christies in London in October 2005. It achieved a price of GBP 720.00 (€ 1,061.78), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20%. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Henri-Jozef Pauwels achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Scène d'intérieur au jardin in March last year with an auction result of USD 16,562.50 (€ 14,930.59).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Afternoon tea von Henri-Jozef Pauwels wurde im Oktober 2005 in der Auktion British and Continental Pictures bei Christies in London versteigert. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von GBP 720,00 (€ 1.061,78) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 20%. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Henri-Jozef Pauwels erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Scène d'intérieur au jardin im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 16.562,50 (€ 14.930,59).
