Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In May 2012 Bukowski in Stockholm held the auction The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm, which included the work "Icy Prospects 17", 2005 by Jorma Puranen. The »bidding war« ended at SEK 46,000.00 (€ 4,858.95), 15% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Jorma Puranen have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Icy Prospects (No. 17) in June 2007 with an auction result of GBP 13,200.00 (€ 19,588.14).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Mai 2012 führte Bukowski in Stockholm die Auktion The Spring Contemporary, Stockholm durch, in der auch die Arbeit "Icy Prospects 17", 2005 von Jorma Puranen zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von SEK 46.000,00 (€ 4.858,95) und damit 15% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jorma Puranen auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Icy Prospects (No. 17) im Juni 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 13.200,00 (€ 19.588,14).
