Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Jorge Tacla was auctioned at Bonhams in New York in February 2021, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for USD 11,997.75 (€ 9,921.24). Other works by Jorge Tacla have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2000 by the work Medium Rare at USD 17,625.00 (€ 18,465.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jorge Tacla im Februar 2021 bei Bonhams in New York versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 12.000,00 – 18.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für USD 11.997,75 (€ 9.921,24) den Besitzer. Andere Arbeiten von Jorge Tacla wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2000 die Arbeit Medium Rare mit USD 17.625,00 (€ 18.465,17).
