Auction result misses estimated price range
In May 2012 a collector was able to acquire the work Centre Of Gravity by Jorge Tacla for USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,121.00). This price was achieved in the auction Latin American Art at Sothebys in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 15,000.00 – 20,000.00 set by the auction house. Other works by Jorge Tacla have also sold for higher prices; the highest price we have seen at auction so far was achieved in June 2000 by the work Medium Rare at USD 17,625.00 (€ 18,465.17).

Im Mai 2012 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Centre Of Gravity von Jorge Tacla für USD 13.750,00 (€ 11.121,00) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Sothebys in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Andere Arbeiten von Jorge Tacla wurden auch schon teurer gehandelt; den höchsten Preis, den wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachten konnten, erzielte im Juni 2000 die Arbeit Medium Rare mit USD 17.625,00 (€ 18.465,17).
