Auction result misses estimated price range
In September 2010 a collector was able to acquire the work Claustrophobia by Jorge Tacla for USD 1,875.00 (€ 1,378.58). This price was achieved in the auction LATIN AMERICA at Phillips in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 2,000.00 – 3,000.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jorge Tacla achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Medium Rare in June 2000 with an auction result of USD 17,625.00 (€ 18,465.17).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im September 2010 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Claustrophobia von Jorge Tacla für USD 1.875,00 (€ 1.378,58) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion LATIN AMERICA bei Phillips in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 2.000,00 – 3.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jorge Tacla erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Medium Rare im Juni 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 17.625,00 (€ 18.465,17).
