Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Jorge Pardo could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in May last year for an unexpectedly low price. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, this work without title changed hands for GBP 315.00 (€ 370.57) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 1,000.00 – 2,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jorge Pardo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 56,105.35).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jorge Pardo konnte im Mai letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wechselte diese Arbeit ohne Titel für GBP 315,00 (€ 370,57) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 1.000,00 – 2.000,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jorge Pardo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 56.105,35).
