Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jorge Pardo was sold in the Contemporary Curated auction at Sothebys in Paris in July 2021. The price achieved of EUR 1,260.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jorge Pardo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 56,105.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jorge Pardo wurde im Juli 2021 in der Auktion Contemporary Curated bei Sothebys in Paris versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 1.260,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jorge Pardo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 56.105,35).
