Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jorge Pardo was auctioned at Phillips in March this year. It changed hands for a price of USD 13,970.00 (€ 12,849.52) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Jorge Pardo have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work without title in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 56,105.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jorge Pardo kam im März diesen Jahres bei Phillips zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von USD 13.970,00 (€ 12.849,52) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 10.000,00 – 15.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jorge Pardo auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 56.105,35).
