Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In March 2021 Christies in New York held the auction First Open, which included this untitled work by Jorge Pardo. Here, the upper estimate of USD 3,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 3,250.00 (€ 2,767.61). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jorge Pardo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 56,105.35).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im März 2021 führte Christies in New York die Auktion First Open durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jorge Pardo zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 3.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 3.250,00 (€ 2.767,61) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jorge Pardo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 56.105,35).
