Auction result well in line with expectations
This work without title by Jorge Pardo was sold in the on paper | online auction at Christies in New York in March 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of USD 1,000.00 – 2,000.00, the actual price achieved of USD 1,125.00 (€ 913.15) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jorge Pardo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 56,105.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jorge Pardo wurde im März 2018 in der Auktion on paper | online bei Christies in New York versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von USD 1.000,00 – 2.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von USD 1.125,00 (€ 913,15) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jorge Pardo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 56.105,35).
