Auction result well in line with expectations
The work 1230 (9) by Jorge Pardo was auctioned at Christies in London in March 2021. The price achieved of GBP 1,500.00 (€ 1,762.11) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 1,200.00 – 1,800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jorge Pardo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work without title in May 2006 with an auction result of USD 72,000.00 (€ 56,105.35).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit 1230 (9) von Jorge Pardo kam im März 2021 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 1.500,00 (€ 1.762,11) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 1.200,00 – 1.800,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Jorge Pardo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit ohne Titel im Mai 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 72.000,00 (€ 56.105,35).
