Die Arbeit Construcción Vacía - Oración Lunar von Jorge Oteiza kam im Dezember 2019 bei Sothebys in Paris zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 93.750,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 34 %. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jorge Oteiza auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Round circulation with signs in the Basque landscape/orreaga im Oktober 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 920.000,00.
