Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Encanto by Jorge Jiménez Deredia was auctioned at Christies in New York in November 2012. The price achieved of USD 35,000.00 (€ 26,902.38) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 30,000.00 – 40,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jorge Jiménez Deredia achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pareja in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 675,000.00 (€ 612,578.27).
