Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
This work without title by Jorge Jiménez Deredia was sold in the Latin American Art auction at Christies in New York in May 2018. Here, the upper estimate of USD 80,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for USD 81,250.00 (€ 69,622.96). Admittedly, works by Jorge Jiménez Deredia have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Pareja in November 2019 with an auction result of USD 675,000.00 (€ 612,578.27).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Jorge Jiménez Deredia wurde im Mai 2018 in der Auktion Latin American Art bei Christies in New York versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von USD 80.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für USD 81.250,00 (€ 69.622,96) einen neuen Besitzer. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Jorge Jiménez Deredia auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Pareja im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 675.000,00 (€ 612.578,27).
