This artwork by Jordi Ribes achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in an online auction in September last year. In the INTERSECT: Online Auction auction, the work Un Par de Setas (A Pair of Mushrooms) sold for HKD 378,000.00 (€ 49,186.75) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 200,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jordi Ribes - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April last year for HKD 1,386,000.00 (€ 167,577.49).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 89 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Jordi Ribes erzielte im September letzten Jahres bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion INTERSECT: Online Auction wurde die Arbeit Un Par de Setas (A Pair of Mushrooms) für HKD 378.000,00 (€ 49.186,75) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 200.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Jordi Ribes mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April letzten Jahres für HKD 1.386.000,00 (€ 167.577,49) versteigert wurde.
