Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In December 2007 Sothebys in Amsterdam held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work W Iv-5 by Joost Baljeu. Here, the upper estimate of EUR 12,000.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for EUR 12,010.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Joost Baljeu achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Synth. Constr. Wxi_4C in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 137,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im Dezember 2007 führte Sothebys in Amsterdam die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit W Iv-5 von Joost Baljeu zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von EUR 12.000,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für EUR 12.010,00 einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Joost Baljeu erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Synth. Constr. Wxi_4C im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 137.500,00.
