It achieved a price of USD 56,700.00 (€ 48,284.08), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 42%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Jonathan Lasker - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work The Discontinuous Self, which sold at auction in July last year for USD 138,600.00 (€ 135,855.71).

Die Arbeit Non Sequitur Psyche von Jonathan Lasker kam im März 2021 bei Sothebys in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 56.700,00 (€ 48.284,08) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 42%. Für andere Arbeiten von Jonathan Lasker mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit The Discontinuous Self beobachtet, die im Juli letzten Jahres für USD 138.600,00 (€ 135.855,71) versteigert wurde.
