Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Untitled at 2,786,362 (Oqunquit), 1982 by Jonathan Borofsky was sold in the Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online auction at Bonhams in September this year. The price achieved of USD 1,024.00 (€ 967.50) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 800.00 – 1,200.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Jonathan Borofsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Man with Briefcase A; B; C; at No. 3274714; and at No. 5876246 (G. 1482-4; 1461) in November 2006 with an auction result of USD 60,000.00 (€ 45,245.46).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Untitled at 2,786,362 (Oqunquit), 1982 von Jonathan Borofsky wurde im September diesen Jahres in der Auktion Post-War & Contemporary Art X Made in California Part II Online bei Bonhams versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von USD 1.024,00 (€ 967,50) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit USD 800,00 – 1.200,00 angegeben worden.
